Partner newsletter - week 9

Dear partner,

We would like to inform you about the new procedure for registering wheelchairs and medical attributes. This procedure will come into effect on 11 March 2025.

We have noticed that more and more wheelchairs and medical attributes are being taken on our flights. Therefore, we aim to organise this process properly.
First and foremost, we want every passenger to travel as comfortably and efficiently as possible. This includes providing clear information on whether or not a wheelchair can be taken along.

In recent years, more types of wheelchairs have entered the market, varying in size and weight. It is important that we receive the correct dimensions and weight for every request to bring a wheelchair on board.

Replacement FIF process:

What will change?
We previously required a Flight Information Form (FIF) to be delivered by mail. This process is now further automated.

Process explained:

Starting from Tuesday, 11 March 2025, we will initiate an automatically generated e-mail flow as soon as a wheelchair is registered with us. Upon registration of a PRM (person with reduced mobility), the main booker will receive an e-mail containing a link to the digital form. In this form, all sizes, weight, and any comments must be filled in. This process applies to all our booking channels. There is no need to enter a booking number or PNR, as this information will be filled in automatically.

This e-mail can be forwarded to the passenger with a request to complete this form and activate it via the ‘Submit’ button. You can also complete the form yourself and activate it via the ‘Submit’ button.

By submitting the form, you will enter an automatic process and receive a response after your request has been processed. This may be an approval or a rejection with a potential request to make or check certain adjustments.

With the introduction of this new procedure, we expect to be able to provide our partners and passengers with more immediate clarity about taking wheelchairs and medical attributes on board our flights.

Still have additional questions about this procedure? Please contact your partner manager or our Service Center. (020-2146032 #4).

We will be happy to assist you.
