Winter tickets 2026-2027 available for booking, our 10 millionth passengers and thanks to our partners

Time for an update

Dear Partner,

As we head into the final weeks of the year, we’d like to wish you a wonderful festive season and a great end to 2025. We’ve really enjoyed working with you and helping to make so many journeys possible.

Before the year comes to a close, we’ve got a few updates to share. Selected flights for the 2026–2027 winter season are now available for booking, and we proudly welcomed our 10 millionth passenger this year. Our CEO, Marcel de Nooijer, also has a few words of thanks. And that’s not all. Keep reading for more information!""

Flight sales for winter 2026–2027

From today, 18 December, a wide range of flights for winter 2026–2027 are now available for booking.

This includes a wide range of destinations, with flights departing from Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Brussels.

The full winter schedule will be released in spring 2026.

“Earlier this year we released a selection of our summer 2026 tickets, and we’re now doing the same with our winter offer. We’re seeing more and more customers wanting to plan their trips even further in advance,” says Charles Verstegen, Lead Customer & Proposition at Transavia. “Whether you want to make sure your Christmas holiday is sorted or you’re dreaming of a proper winter break in the snow, you can now get everything lined up much earlier.”

At Transavia, the winter season runs from November through March.

Transavia welcomed 10 million passengers in 2025

Transavia has reached a major milestone. For the first time in its 60-year history, Transavia carried 10 million passengers in a single calendar year. This reflects the growing demand for air travel from the Netherlands.
The 10 millionth passenger, Mr van Iersel from Tilburg, flew on Friday 12 December, travelling from Amsterdam to Seville. He was given a festive surprise at the gate, including a travel voucher towards a future holiday, and received personal congratulations from CEO Marcel de Nooijer. The milestone comes shortly before the CEO’s departure at the end of December.

Smart investment and teamwork

The increase in passenger numbers is the result of focused investment in reliable day-to-day operations, fleet innovation and the continued trust of customers and partners. Transavia is also modernising its fleet with more fuel-efficient, quieter Airbus A321neo aircraft. These seat 232 passengers, compared with 189 on the older Boeing 737, meaning more capacity per flight and lower emissions per passenger."
"Marcel de Nooijer, CEO of Transavia: “The fact that millions of people in the Netherlands choose Transavia highlights the growing demand for flights and the importance of keeping fares affordable. That’s what we work hard to do every day, and we’re proud to help make flying accessible for more than ten million people a year. This milestone is a fitting end to our anniversary year, and also a special moment for me as I bring my time at Transavia to a close.

Looking ahead: growth and customer experience

Transavia will continue building a strong network from the Netherlands and Belgium, with new destinations and the opening of a Brussels base. At the same time, Transavia is taking responsibility by making the fleet more sustainable with newer, quieter Airbus aircraft. This helps Transavia take important steps to future-proof the business and keep up with rising demand, while continuing to deliver a great customer experience.

A special thank you to our travel industry partners

Marcel de Nooijer, CEO of Transavia: “After six years of leading Transavia, I will be starting a new role as Chief Executive Officer at Heerema Marine Contractors on 1 January.

It hasn’t been an easy decision. My time at Transavia, and especially working with you in the travel industry, has inspired me and enriched me in so many ways."
"I’d like to sincerely thank you all for the friendly, open and constructive way we’ve worked together over the years. I’ve genuinely enjoyed getting to know many of you in person. Together we’ve delivered brilliant results, come through challenging times and continually looked for ways to give our passengers the best possible experience. The travel industry’s commitment, professionalism and resilience have really made a big impression on me.

Although I’m taking this next step, my appreciation for this sector remains as strong as ever. I look back with pride on what we’ve achieved together, and I have every confidence in the future of Transavia and the travel industry as a whole.

Thank you for your support and for such a good working relationship. I wish you all the very best for the future.

If you think Transavia deserves to win this fantastic award, cast your vote and help us bring the title home. And feel free to encourage colleagues and friends in the travel industry to vote for us too. Together, we can help make Transavia Europe’s favourite airline.
