Meet our new CEO and discover our early winter 2026 flights

Time for an update

Dear Partner,

In this newsletter, we would like to introduce you to our new CEO, Paul Terstegge! You will also find out more about our early flight sales for the 2026/2027 winter season. Read on for more information.

Paul Terstegge, new CEO of Transavia

Paul Terstegge will be the new CEO of Transavia as of 1 February 2026. He brings extensive experience from KLM and fits well with our path towards growth, a quieter and cleaner future, and a future-proof business model. Marcel de Nooijer will remain in office until the end of December. As a short transition period will follow, CFO Pieter Wensveen will temporarily take over the role of CEO in January.

With Paul, we look forward to building a strong travel experience for our shared customers.

Early start of the 2026/2027 winter season sales

Starting on 18 December, we will be selling a significant portion of flights for the 2026–2027 winter season. This allows us to book up to 1.5 years in advance, in line with the growing need of our shared customers to gain certainty quickly and plan early.

Twenty-three destinations for sale

In this first phase, 23 of the 64 destinations will go live.

Iceland
Reykjavík

Norway
Tromsø

Portugal

Spain

Spain (Canary Islands)
La Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura

Availability varies by destination: not all days and not all flights will be opened. Also, we are not adding any new destinations right now. However, in contrast to the early sale last summer, there are some single-daily routes available.

The launch regards flights from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Brussels. Wherever possible, we sell the destinations directly from all our hubs. Destinations known as typical partner routes, such as the Canary Islands and Dubai, will also go on sale on 18 December. It is also good to know that the usual winter sports extension in April is not yet available. The final offer for winter 2026/2027 will be fairly comparable in size and setup to the current winter schedule.

The full winter schedule will be published in spring 2026.
We are of course available for any questions.

Best regards,

Team sales & partnerships
