We have news for you. It’s time to tell you more about the start of ticket sales for summer 2026, our new summer destinations, changes to the conditions for group bookings and our presence at TRAVDAY! Read on for more information.
As of 17 September, all flights for summer 2026 can be booked! Earlier this year, we’ve already opened up several flights for booking earlier. But now this sales are open for all other flights too.
Transavia is introducing new sunny destinations and is also flying to many familiar favourites within Europe and North Africa. In addition, some popular charter destinations can now be booked directly with Transavia for the first time.
Wider choice, trusted quality
Transavia is expanding the 2026 summer network further, with a mix of new routes to both existing and new destinations:
- Amsterdam – Alghero (Sardinia, Italy)
- Amsterdam – Palermo (Sicily, Italy)
- Eindhoven – Olbia (Sardinia, Italy)
- Rotterdam – Catania (Sicily, Italy)
Six more destinations that Transavia previously only flew to on behalf of tour operators can now be booked directly with Transavia:
- Amsterdam – Skiathos, Karpathos & Lesbos (Greek islands)
- Amsterdam – Hurghada & Marsa Alam (Egypt)
- Amsterdam – Antalya (Turkey)
A destination for every traveller
The Transavia network serves a wide audience: from sun seekers to people visiting family, from holidaymakers to business travellers. By combining popular sun and city trips with unique gems, the network remains surprising and relevant.
Demand for Mediterranean sun remains as high as ever. That is why Transavia is also investing in Italian destinations this season, with new routes to Sardinia and Sicily. By departing from several Dutch airports (Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam), our offer will also be accessible to customers all over the Netherlands. The new destination of Alghero (Sardinia) completes the Italy portfolio.
Book early for affordable flights
Those who book in good time benefit from the best availability and the most attractive rates. Earlier this summer, the first tickets became available from Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam to a selection of destinations. Further flights to these and other destinations, including from Brussels, can be booked now. The summer season runs from April to October 2026.
In our previous newsletter, we communicated the changes to the conditions for our group portals. From 15 September, these changes are effectual. More detailed information about these changes to the group terms and conditions can be found on our website from today. You can find the link below. Here is an overview of the most important changes once again:
What is going to change?
By popular demand, a few options have been created to extend the option term. The option term can be expanded by an additional two weeks, on top of the 21 days that apply at this moment. The partner is offered this option 3 days before the option term of 21 days expires. The charges for an extra extension is 200 euros, which will be refunded if the purchase of the group with Transavia is final. This only applies to bookings that are placed > 180 days before departure.
Also,
1. The advance payment will be 50% of the total travel sum. The size of the group no longer matters.
2. The full payment of the group booking must be paid 60 days before departure.
3. The refund for any additional cancellations made more than 60 days before departure will be reduced to 10% regardless of the group size.
What will stay the same?
You can still enjoy our great group conditions, flexible payment options, and user-friendly online environment where bookings can be managed.
Why these amendments?
With these amendments, we will provide an efficient processing of group requests, more clarity for all clients, and we are accommodating the request to extend the option period.
