It's time for an update

Dear Partner,

We have several updates to share with you. In this newsletter, you will meet our new Lead Customer & Proposition, read more about Gewoon Goed Geregeld , our way of giving passengers extra certainty when booking their trip, even in uncertain times and find out about the first summer 2027 flights going on sale. You also have the chance to win the final spot on our study trip to Antalya.

Noëll Visée-Wever appointed Lead Customer & Proposition at Transavia

On the 15th of May 2026, Noëll Visée-Wever joined Transavia as our new Lead Customer & Proposition, succeeding Charles Verstegen.

Over the past few years, Noëll has held several roles within Transavia, including Head of Strategy, Data & Intelligence and Lead Strategic Initiatives. Before joining Transavia, she worked for companies including Sanoma and Deloitte.

CEO Paul Terstegge: “Noëll knows our organization inside out. She brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, commercial acumen and a data-driven way of working. We look forward to working with Noëll, and with all of you, to further strengthen our commercial proposition for our shared passengers.”

Noëll on her new role: “I am delighted to step into this new role at Transavia and am especially looking forward to working together with you. I strongly believe in the power of the travel industry and see great value in our partnerships with Transavia.”

“A little bit about myself: I recently moved from Amsterdam to Naarden with my husband and two young sons. Like many of you, we share a great love of travel, and we love passing this on to our sons by discovering the world together.” I look forward to meeting you in person soon and visiting various partners. I also hope to meet many of you at one of the upcoming industry events.”

Noëll has started her onboarding and is getting reacquainted with the teams. Introductory meetings with business partners will be scheduled in due course.

Clarity for passengers

With rising fuel prices and reports of possible kerosene shortages, some customers may feel hesitant about booking a flight. For them, we have a clear message: no unexpected fuel surcharges afterwards, and we plan to operate our flight schedule as normal.

Why are we doing this?
Media reports about possible kerosene shortages and rising fuel costs are creating uncertainty among customers. They may be wondering: will my trip become more expensive later? Will my flight still go ahead? Will I be able to get home? That is exactly why we want to give customers extra clarity, so they can book with confidence and look forward to their travel plans without worry.

What are we telling them?
With Transavia, you know where you stand and your trip is Simply Sorted. Two key certainties are central to this:

- The price you book at is the price you fly at. No additional fuel surcharges afterwards.
- We plan to operate our flight schedule as normal. If something changes, we will offer an alternative flight or a refund.

Our message fits well with our brand: Uncommonly good flying: not normal, just straightforward. Because honestly? We do not think this clarity is anything extraordinary, it is simply how things should be. And that is what customers can expect from us.

More information is available on our website.

Visible everywhere for maximum reach
This message is an addition to our ongoing campaigns. That is why you will see and hear it on our radio and TV advertisements over the coming weeks. We are also using our own channels, such as newsletters and social media. In addition, we are engaging with our press contacts to extend our reach and connect with as many consumers as possible.

Will you help us share this message? Together, we can reach even more consumers and strengthen confidence, so they no longer postpone their travel plans.

First summer 2027 flights going on sale soon – mark the 12th of June in your calendar

We are approaching the start of sales for the first flights for summer 2027, covering the period from April through October. On the 12th of June, we will open more than 50% of our network for sale.

Booking early remains attractive: we are opening the market with competitive starting prices.

New compared to summer 2026 is that this go-live will also include several popular B2B routes. Think of destinations such as Crete, Zakynthos, Kos, Gran Canaria and Tenerife. This makes the go-live a great opportunity to secure capacity early for destinations with strong market demand.

One week before go-live, you will receive an additional partner newsletter with an overview of all routes going on sale from the 12th of June.

In short: mark this date in your calendar and prepare for the go-live of a large number of summer 2027 flights. The remaining summer 2027 flight schedule will follow mid-September 2026.

Transavia supports call for equal aviation tax across Europe

Transavia supports the call by ANVR and the Dutch airlines for a more level aviation tax across Europe.

From 2027, the Netherlands will have the highest aviation tax in Europe. As a result, Dutch consumers risk paying significantly more than passengers departing from airports in neighboring countries. For a family of four flying to Turkey, the aviation tax from the Netherlands will rise to nearly €200, compared to around €40 from Belgium.

Transavia is concerned about the growing differences within Europe and the impact this may have on consumers and the Dutch aviation sector.

CEO Paul Terstegge: “For many people, flying is not just about holidays. It is also about visiting family, travelling for work and staying connected with family and friends abroad. Making aviation more sustainable is essential, and as a sector we are investing heavily in this. But that requires fair agreements within Europe and a level playing field. Transavia fully supports this call by ANVR and the Dutch airlines.”

Transavia will invest billions in the coming years in renewing its fleet with quieter and more fuel-efficient Airbus aircraft and is also focusing on the use of more sustainable fuels. In doing so, the airline is working towards a future-proof and more sustainable aviation industry.

Transavia’s complete winter network is now available

All tickets for the period from November 2026 through March 2027 are now available for bookings. This winter, Transavia will once again fly from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Brussels to a wide range of destinations across Europe and North Africa.

With its winter network, Transavia responds to continued demand for winter sun, city breaks and winter sports destinations. The network consists of a mix of familiar destinations and several new and expanded routes. In addition to the reintroduction of Sal in Cape Verde, the winter sports destinations Sälen Trysil in Sweden and Kittilä in Finland complete the mix.

These destinations will be offered this winter season as scheduled services rather than charters. In Belgium, Transavia is further expanding its offering with flights to Las Palmas and Reykjavik.

Tickets for the 2026/2027 winter season have been available via all sales channels since the 16th of April.

Transavia to fly from Maastricht and Weeze during Eindhoven Airport closure

Eindhoven Airport will be closed to air traffic from February 1st to July 18th 2027 for runway renovations. During this period, Transavia will operate flights from Maastricht Aachen Airport and Weeze Airport, also known as Flughafen Niederrhein, in Germany.

Important base for the region
Eindhoven Airport has been an important base for Transavia for nearly twenty years, and a familiar departure point for passengers from the east and south of the Netherlands. We have therefore looked for alternatives that remain easily accessible for passengers from this region. Maastricht Aachen Airport and Weeze Airport are close to Eindhoven and, like Eindhoven Airport, are manageable airports where passengers can be on their way to their destination quickly and easily.

Operations temporarily reorganised
Under normal circumstances, we operate nine Transavia aircrafts from Eindhoven Airport. During the closure, two aircrafts will temporarily move to Maastricht Aachen Airport and four to Weeze Airport. The remaining aircraft will be deployed within Transavia’s overall fleet planning, which also includes the transition to the cleaner and quieter Airbus fleet.

“The temporary closure of Eindhoven Airport is a significant operational challenge that requires a great deal of preparation,” says Marloes van Laake, Chief Operating Officer of Transavia. “We are pleased that we can offer our passengers and staff easily accessible alternatives in Maastricht and Weeze. At the same time, we look forward to flying from a renovated Eindhoven Airport again in the summer of 2027.”

Destinations
From Weeze Airport, Transavia will fly in winter to Alicante, Málaga, Barcelona, Faro, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Lisbon, Gran Canaria, Marrakech, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia. From Maastricht Aachen Airport, passengers can fly to Alicante, Málaga, Faro, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia.

Base Brussel

On the 29th of April, 2026, a fully Brussels-based crew team operated a flight to Alicante for the first time.

This was an important milestone and a great step in the further development of our Brussels base. We are proud of this achievement and look forward to continued growth in the period ahead.

Transavia flies from Brussels to: Agadir, Alicante, Bari**, Faro, Ibiza, Las Palmas*, Málaga, Marrakech, Reykjavik*, Seville and Tenerife.

*New starting winter 2026/2027.
**Summer only.

Sustainability Partner Programme

The Sustainability Partner Program is one of our initiatives to help reduce CO₂ emissions. We do this with SAF, or Sustainable Aviation Fuel: a more sustainable aviation fuel. When you purchase SAF through the program, the CO₂ emissions of your passengers on board with us are reduced.

In this newsletter, we would like to thank our partners Sunweb, TUI, Corendon, de Jong Intra Vakanties and ANVR for participating in the program.

Would you also like to help get the SAF industry off the ground, while contributing to direct impact and emission reductions? Please get in touch with us. We will be happy to help.

Wildcard study trip Antalya, June 10-13

From June 10 to 13, Club Med and Transavia are organizing an inspiring study trip to sunny Antalya. During this trip, we will stay at the premium all-inclusive Club Med Resort Palmiye and discover the versatility of the Turkish Riviera together.

The program is fully focused on experience, inspiration and relaxation. We will visit historic sites such as Phaselis and Olympos and discover the center of Antalya during a city walk. There will also be plenty of opportunities to experience the true Club Med feeling: from the warm hospitality of the Gentils Organisateurs and sports activities such as padel and sailing, to culinary delights and relaxation at the resort. Of course, we will also join in the lively Crazy Signs, where you are guaranteed to be up on your feet. And naturally, you will also spot the iconic Club Med 45 shirts.

What makes this destination particularly special is that Antalya was offered by Transavia for many years exclusively as a charter destination and has officially been added to the network as a scheduled service starting this summer. This makes this popular sun destination even more accessible for all your customers.

We have one spot remaining on this study trip. Would you like to join us? Let us know before the 27th of May. You can register by sending a motivational email to [email protected]. From all entries, we will select the winner of this wildcard on the first of June.

Update individual study trips

Preparations for our individual study trips are in full swing. The winners of the two study trips to Karpathos will be departing shortly, and the winners of the study trips to Morocco have also been announced. All selected participants have received personal notification from us.

We would like to warmly thank you for your tremendous interest in these study trips. Your enthusiasm and the many applications show how valuable this initiative is. This motivates us to make even more of these inspiring trips available in the future.

We wish all winners a fantastic trip filled with new impressions, inspiration and wonderful experiences to help bring these special destinations even more to the attention of your customers.

Best regards,
