Seat reservation

If you want to make sure that you will be sitting together, or you would prefer some extra legroom or to sit next to the window, then reserve your seat prior to departure! You can reserve a seat for yourself and your travelling companions when booking your flight, but it is also easy to do it afterwards.

How do I reserve a seat?

You can reserve a seat when making your booking or afterwards in My Transavia. Seat reservations are possible until 30 hours before departure of your flight. The earlier you book, the more seats will still be available from which to choose. If you do not reserve a seat, you can choose from the remaining seats when you check in online. If you check in at the airport, you and your travelling companions will be assigned to the remaining seats during check-in. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot guarantee that you will be sitting together.

Extra seat:
You can reserve an extra seat if, for example, you are taking a musical instrument (max. size limit, including protective cover, of 110 x 44 x 65 cm, max. weight limit of 20 kg) or wedding gown with you or if you simply would like more space. You can book an extra seat by contacting our Service Centre. When booking an extra seat, you reserve a seat for yourself and an extra seat. This way you always know that you will sit next to your extra seat.

Booked through a travel organisation:
If you booked through a travel organisation, you can reserve a seat from 3 weeks up to 30 hours before departure in My Transavia or through your travel organisation’s website.

Tip: Take your booking confirmation with you to the airport, as it states your reserved seats.

Have you already reserved seats? Then you cannot change these.
