Travel documents

You are going on holiday shortly! But without the right documents, you won’t get far. So we have put together a list of what documents you need to bring with you to the airport.

  1. Your airline tickets

Your airline ticket can be found in the attachment to the booking confirmation we sent to you by e-mail. Did you lose this e-mail? No reason to panic! Simply contact our Service Centre and they will resend you the e-mail.
Did you not book directly with but, for example, with a travel agency? Your ticket will be included with your travel documents.

  2. Your passport or national identity card

Needless to say, you will need a valid passport or national identity card. You will not get much further than the check-in desk with an expired or damaged document. Check with the consulate for the country you are flying to or the website for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs whether you require a passport or national identity card for your trip and how long it should be valid for.

  3. A visa

A visa is required for some destinations. This depends not only on the destination, but also your nationality. In some cases, you are required to purchase a visa beforehand. So make sure to check this well ahead of your trip by contacting the consulate or embassy for the country to be visited.

Please note: The rules regarding the validity of a passport for travel to Cape Verde may vary. To ensure that you do not encounter any problems, make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months after your return to the Netherlands.
Apart from a valid passport, you also need a visa. We strongly advise you to apply for a visa before you leave for holiday.

Do you have all travel documents required for your trip? Then we’d like to wish you a wonderful trip!
